Ingredients

  • 1 cup Greek yogurt full-fat or preferred variety
  • 1 teaspoon honey or maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup fresh berries blueberries, strawberries, or raspberries
  • 2 tablespoons nuts toasted almonds or walnuts
  • 1 medium seasonal fruit sliced apple, peach, or fig

Equipment

  • Small skillet
  • Spoon
  • Small mixing bowl
  • Serving bowl
  • Spatula

Method

  1. Heat a small skillet over medium-low heat and add the nuts. Toast, shaking the pan occasionally, until golden and fragrant, about 3-5 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
  2. Scoop the Greek yogurt into your serving bowl, smoothing it out with the back of a spoon for an even base.
  3. Drizzle the honey over the yogurt, then gently swirl it with a spoon to create a subtle marbling effect.
  4. Wash and prepare your seasonal fruit, then slice into bite-sized pieces and layer them evenly on top of the yogurt.
  5. Sprinkle the toasted nuts over the fruit and yogurt, adding a satisfying crunch and nutty aroma.
  6. Finish with a final drizzle of honey, a few extra berries if desired, and a sprig of fresh herbs like mint for a bright touch.

Notes

Feel free to customize with your favorite seasonal fruits and nuts. For an extra boost of flavor, add a sprinkle of cinnamon or chia seeds before serving.
